Made from lightweight nylon, the Matilda backpack can accommodate up to 50 liters of gear. Its simple construction and proven solutions make it an excellent choice for forest outings, camping, or other bushcraft activities.
The front of the Matilda backpack features three large pockets with pass-throughs, such as for an axe, each with drawstrings and buckle closures. MOLLE/PALS compatible webbing is stitched on the main compartment, allowing for expansion by attaching additional pockets, first aid kits, etc. Moreover, the backpack has rolled-up straps on the sides, making it easy to attach a sleeping bag or mat. A zippered pocket on the top flap provides easy access to small essentials.
The three front pockets are large compartments without dividers, offering unrestricted packing. Besides the external pocket on the flap, there's a hook & loop panel and one zippered mesh pocket on the inside of the flap. The spacious main compartment has space for a hydration bladder and a row of MOLLE/PALS webbing for attaching a pouch for small items or documents. The Matilda's back is reinforced with a plastic plate, ensuring it maintains its shape during a hike, regardless of the load.
